What will my child be learning?
At Kids Academy Nursery, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework from England,
enriched by a Reggio Emilia–inspired, inquiry-led approach. This encourages children to explore, ask questions, and learn through meaningful hands-on experiences.
The 3 prime areas of learning are

These are supported by 4 specific areas

Together, these areas support the holistic development of every child – academically, socially,
emotionally, and physically.
What qualifications do the teachers have?
Our educators hold internationally recognised early years qualifications such as CACHE Level 3 Early
Years Educator and/or NVQ certifications.
CACHE (Council for Awards in Care, Health and Education) is the UK’s leading awarding body for care and education qualifications.
NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) focuses on practical, competency-based professional training.
All teachers also receive ongoing professional development to maintain the highest standards of care
and education.
How can you ensure they learn the right things for their age?
Every child learns at their own pace. Our teachers carefully observe and assess each child’s developmental stage, interests, and readiness to learn. Learning experiences are then personalised to suit individual abilities and learning styles, ensuring steady progress and confidence-building at every
stage.
Who will look after my child in the nursery?
Your child will be cared for by qualified teachers and trained teaching assistants who are responsible for their learning, wellbeing, and safety throughout the day. Every member of our team shares responsibility for creating a secure, nurturing, and supportive environment.
Who will take them to the toilet?
All Kids Academy staff are trained to support children with nappy changes and toilet independence in a respectful, hygienic, and age-appropriate manner.
Who feeds them?
Our educators assist children during mealtimes, encouraging healthy eating habits and independence.
Staff are trained in safe feeding practices, including spoon-feeding and self-feeding techniques, while ensuring each child’s dietary needs are respected.
What happens if my child wants a nap?
Children under two years are encouraged to nap after lunch. For children aged two and above, a quiet rest period is provided.
We work closely with parents to understand each child’s sleep routine and accommodate individual needs wherever possible.
Do you let the children watch television?
Children under the age of two do not use screens at Kids Academy. For older children, limited supervised use of devices may be incorporated for educational purposes only such as research or project-based learning never as passive entertainment.
What other technology do you use?
We use trusted digital platforms such as Arabee for Arabic language learning and Educore as our education management system to support learning communication and administration.
How safe is this technology?
All digital platforms comply with strict data privacy and security standards. Any child use of technology is always supervised by educators to ensure safe, purposeful engagement.
What happens if my child has an accident or becomes unwell?
Our clinics and nursing services comply with Dubai Health Authority regulations. If a child becomes unwell or has a minor injury, they will be cared for comfortably in the clinic and parents will be contacted immediately for collection if needed.
Do you have CCTV?
Yes. Our premises are equipped with extensive CCTV coverage across classrooms, outdoor areas, reception, and entry/exit points. This enhances safety and monitoring at all times.
What happens if i can’t pick my child up?
We offer extended care options for working parents, with late pick-ups available until 5:30pm. Selected branches also offer school bus services. Your Nursery Manager can provide full details based on your location and needs.
