I come from a small village in Northern Ireland and traded the rainy hills for the sunny desert when I moved to the UAE, with my parents in 2006. Initially living in Al Ain, where I completed my formal schooling and later started my studies in Early Years Education by completing my CACHE Level 3 Diploma and within a short time, my CACHE Level 5 Diploma. I have 15 years experience in the Early Years setting and believe that it’s important for children to have a strong early years foundation. I have been a part of the Kids Academy Team since 2014 and I’m looking forward to contributing to your child’s early years experience.

Abu Dhabi has been my home for the past 24 years. Originally qualifying in science and law, I realised my passion was working with young children. I strongly believe it’s important for children to have a solid foundation and EYFS curriculum offers that and more. I’ve been a part of Kids Academy Family since 2012 when it opened its doors in UAE, when I joined as a teacher. I worked my way up and was made the Kids Academy Group Training Manager, fulfilling their commitment to staff development and training, which I found very rewarding as I was able to pass on my knowledge and skills to the rest of my team.
I was then given the responsibility of managing the Nursery and my passion and interest in the sector are reflected in my practice as I enjoy working closely with parents, children and the wider community and always seek out new approaches that benefits the children.
